Audi's "S" models feature a V8 engine that pairs perfectly with Akrapovic Evolution Line exhaust systems. The Evolution Line exhaust systems for Audi's "S" models, designed and manufactured in-house by Akrapovic engineers, include electronic actuators that control the position of the exhaust valves, depending on the selected driving mode and the driver's driving style. The position can also be changed in the vehicle's individual program settings. Installing an Evolution system will increase the vehicle's power and torque, reduce weight, and produce the unique Akrapovic sound: a deep tone at lower revs and a sportier sound as the revs increase. Four exclusively designed round carbon fibre tailpipes ensure that the Evolution exhaust system for Audi's "S" models looks as good as it performs. This performance exhaust system does not require any modifications to the standard catalytic converter. Therefore, ECU remapping is not necessary - the Evolution is a straightforward plug-and-play system.
