KW V5 Clubsport Coilover Kit

The new 4-way adjustable KW V5 Clubsport offers state-of-the-art KW Solid Piston GT3 motorsport suspension technology for the sportiest road vehicles with a sports tyre setup for use on the racetrack and on the road. The entire suspension design of the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit with its uniball bearings is designed for the use of semi-slick tyres on production-based vehicles.

KW Solid Piston Technology for racetrack and road

In contrast to shock absorbers with overflow working pistons, KW uses its KW Solid Piston Technology (displacement piston design) in the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit, which has been proven in motorsport and homologated for vehicles such as the BMW M4 GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R. The compression and rebound valves, which can be adjusted separately in low-speed and high-speed forces, are arranged separately from the damper inner tube and the piston rod. This offers the KW V5 Clubsport with adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and the KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping significant added value.

With aggressive steering manoeuvres and extreme compression, the body structure remains perfectly supported. Thanks to the adjustable multi-valve technology, the KW V5 Clubsport dampens bumps and relatively large transverse joints cleanly. Even when cutting curbs, production-based sports cars with the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit remain safely controllable. The adjustment options in height allow an adaptation of the wheel loads. The adjustment options, combined with the damping technology (SPCLH-A and SPRLH-A technology) that can be adjusted separately in compression and rebound, enable individual setups to suit the vehicle weight, the tyre characteristics, different track conditions and operating conditions - thanks to multi-valve technology and parts certificate, the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit can also be used on public roads.
