As with every KW coilover suspension, our suspension engineers also develop a sporty-harmonious basic setup for the vehicle-specific applications of the KW V3. In addition to tests on our KW 7-post driving dynamics test rig, we also carry out extensive test drives on country roads, the motorway and even on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, kilometre after kilometre, to guarantee you the perfect suspension setup. For years, the KW V3, which is one of the top aftermarket products worldwide, has been the reference for coilover suspensions. The perfect suspension setup for significantly more driving dynamics
If you have already carried out initial performance modifications on your sporty road vehicle, it is easy to take these into account in a targeted manner in the damper setup with the KW V3. The patented KW valve technology for the separate adjustment of rebound and compression allows you to individually adapt the vehicle-specific basic setup from KW. For example, the KW bottom valve, which can be adjusted in twelve clicks in the low-speed range of the compression, gives you the leeway to even take the tyre characteristics of your high- and ultra-high-performance road tyres into account when setting up the suspension.
Thanks to the patented compression adjustment at the lower end of the piston of the stainless steel housing, you don't even need tools for this. The adjustable compression adjustment with its twelve exact clicks allows you to influence body roll and pitch movements by hand without having to change the rebound damping, which matches the spring rate optimally.
With the individually adjustable rebound adjustment of the KW V3, you can directly influence the handling and comfort through the exact click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are adjusted at the upper end of the piston rod via an integrated adjustment wheel or the clip-on adjustment wheel included in the scope of delivery.
By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel, the body movements on the body are reduced. Your car therefore drives more true to track and you have even more stability at increased cornering speeds. For example, if you switch from the approved wheel/tyre combinations of your car manufacturer to larger rims, you can perfectly match the handling of your car and your new alloy wheels with the KW V3.

The KW V3 is subjected to extensive quality tests during production and each individual damper is checked. This is the only way we can meet our claim of guaranteeing a warranty of up to five years when installing a KW coilover suspension V3 by a KW specialist dealer. Due to the filigree workmanship and the use of high-quality components, for example, the KW coilover struts made of stainless steel are 100 percent rust-free and have an unlimited service life.
As a result, the functionality of the continuous lowering via the dirt-resistant KW trapezoidal thread and the KW polyamide threaded ring is not impaired even after years. Thanks to the individual lowering with its continuous adjustment range, you can also visually emphasise the sportiness of your vehicle.
