Perfect shapes and noble high-tech materials: special, ultra-lightweight titanium alloys were developed specifically for this system, and the matte carbon tailpipes are handcrafted. The system replaces either the base stock exhaust system or the performance stock exhaust system of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 and C 63 S Saloon and Estate models. Numerous components of this fantastic system were cast in Akrapovič's in-house titanium foundry. The system features an active X-connection and an additional pair of exhaust valves behind the rear mufflers. This allows the exhaust system's sound to be perfectly controlled – for pure auditory pleasure. With two defined sound characteristics and three different driving sound settings, the system is perfectly tuned for the best sound in all vehicle modes. The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit allows the driver to control the exhaust system's settings independently of the selected vehicle mode and is a recommended upgrade when replacing the base stock exhaust system. The increase in power and torque, as well as the enormous weight saving of up to 45%, make this system a true performance upgrade. ECE-homologated, no ECU remapping and no additional parts required – installation is straightforward using a plug-and-play procedure. The Akrapovič exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG C63 Saloon / Estate (W205 / S205) is a complete system. For packaging reasons, the EVO system is split into two codes. Care must be taken to order the corresponding link pipe for the slip-on system - UAKE-ME/T/3 (see accessories). If the vehicle is not equipped with the performance exhaust system but with the Mercedes-AMG standard exhaust system, then the Valve Actuator Kit (UAKP-HF985) is mandatory and the Akrapovič Sound Kit (UAKP-HF949) is recommended to ensure complete control over the exhaust system's sound regulation.
