Akrapovic Complete Exhaust System

This product is crafted from high-quality, lightweight titanium, resulting in a weight saving of 34.2% compared to the AMG Performance exhaust system. The all-around sandblasted exterior is complemented by a new tailpipe design made from handcrafted carbon fibre with a titanium inner sleeve. Compared to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupé with an AMG Performance exhaust system, Akrapovič's dyno tests showed a power increase of 6.3 kW (8.6 hp) and a torque increase of 21.3 Nm, both at 2,800 rpm. There are three valves controlled by a specially developed control set: one on each side of the muffler and one in the active X-connection in the link pipe, to create a perfect sound experience. The housings for the valves, the X-connection, and the reinforcement – or centre pillar – of the tailpipes are all manufactured in the factory's own foundry. The result is a pure, deep, and distinctive sound that is full-bodied at idle and transitions into a defined, powerful growl, leading to a high-frequency sound with a sporty character at higher revs. No re-mapping is required upon installation. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available, which offers full control over the sound spectrum produced by the exhaust system. The Evolution Line (Titanium) is ECE type-approved for vehicles with an Otto particulate filter (OPF). It is designed as a direct replacement for vehicles with an AMG Performance exhaust system. When the Akrapovič Sound Kit is fitted, the ECE type-approval for the Evolution Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.
