Akrapovic Complete Exhaust System

This Akrapovič exhaust system is crafted from high-quality, lightweight titanium, resulting in a weight saving of 34.2% compared to the AMG Performance exhaust system. The fully sandblasted exterior is complemented by a new tailpipe design made from handcrafted carbon fibre with a titanium inner sleeve. Compared to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupé with the AMG Performance exhaust system, Akrapovič's dyno tests showed a power increase of 6.3 kW (8.6 hp) and a torque gain of 21.3 Nm, both at 2,800 rpm. There are three valves controlled by a specially developed control kit: one on each side of the muffler and one in the active X-connection in the link pipe, to create a perfect sound experience. The housings for the valves, the X-connection, and the reinforcement – or centre pillar – of the tailpipes are all cast in our in-house foundry. The result is a pure, deep, and distinctive sound that is full-bodied at idle and transitions into a defined, powerful growl at higher revs, leading to a high-frequency, sporty sound. No re-mapping is required upon installation. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available to provide full control over the sound spectrum emitted by the exhaust.
