This system is constructed from lightweight, race-proven materials, with titanium for the muffler and link pipes and carbon fibre for the redesigned, handcrafted tailpipes. The result is a system that is more than 44% lighter compared to the stock configuration. The Evolution Line (Titanium) features two tailpipes, their housing cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry and mounted outside the muffler. This perfect gas-flow design feature allows the sound to be tuned to deliver an Akrapovič sound. This produces a smooth, rich sound during normal cruising, with a deep, sporty tone when the Audi RS3 is driven dynamically. Performance increases by 7.5 kW (10.2 hp) at 5,450 rpm, with torque increasing by 16.3 Nm at 2,800 rpm. These values were measured on the Akrapovič dyno testing against an Audi RS3 with a stock exhaust. No remapping is required, making it a plug-and-play system, and an optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available to give the driver better control over the superb tones produced by the system.
